Yep, that’s right. It’s been a whole year since this kid of mine graduated. I couldn’t be more proud of him each and every day. He’s a dream to photograph and a hoot to hang with. Wil never fails to make me laugh and he definitely has one of the biggest hearts I know. Love ya “little man”.
Deb and I go way back. Both lake girls. Both having son’s graduating. You never really pay attention to time when raising kids and their busy lives. Then a day like today happens. Time stops for a brief moment and we see what has become of all those years.
Abigail is my first grad of the season! Love, Love, Loved her dress. Such sweet sisters too! Congratulations Abigail.
The great thing about being a photographer and having a daughter is that you always have a model who wants to play ‘dress up’. Beau maybe 16 now but I still see that little baby girl who rode my hip and held me tight in every one of these images. That’s the best part of photographing her.
As we get ready for Wil to graduate this spring, it suddenly dawns on me that this may very well be one of the last photo shoots I will get to do with him. At least where I have full creative control ;-> The kids have been so accommodating over the last 18 years, even with the demand that they read my mind during every session….. lol Most memorable moment. Beau throwing up after a long, cold shoot by the river. Turned out she had the flu. The most famous photo shoot quote from Wil, ” Do you talk to all your clients like this?” God IRead More
